RX7 Series 6 'Batman'
These 'Batman' 13B RX7s are the latest addition to the Canterbury Motor
Racing School fleet. They have been built to full race specifications, including full roll cage, race seats and belts, 17" Dunlop Slicks, 'peddle box' brake system and are the only training cars in New Zealand to have data loggers fitted. These cars have been built especially for intensive full circuit tuition and give you the ability to overlay your laps onto computer and monitor your performance.
Van Diemen and Swift Formula Fords
Formula Ford is one of the world’s most popular racing classes, and is an important step in the learning process for many drivers. These cars are extremely demanding, being powered by a Ford 1600cc engine modified and developing around 115hp. Mated to a specialised Hewland gearbox and weighing only 420kg you can see why Formula Fords are the recognized first step on the way to Formula One. Most F1, Indycar, V8 Supercar and New Zealand V8 drivers all cut their teeth in Formula Fords.
