ANDREW NEALE

Andrew has been competing and working in motorsport for 20 years and has extensive experience of driving and engineering race cars.
Having won major championships as a driver and engineer Andy understands both sides of the spectrum. Experience in single seaters like Formula Fords, Formula Atlantic and F5000 historics to Saloon cars such as Toyota Corona and Altessa, NZTCC, Group A BMW’s and various Porsches and Holden’s, Andrew has plenty of experience to draw from.
Andrew’s first experience with racing instruction came while racing in the UK, working for Brands Hatch Racing Schools and BMW GB on corporate drive days. In 1993 and 1994 Andrew managed the Canterbury Motor Racing School and has since worked closely with top level racing drivers both on an engineering and driver coaching level. Andrew has worked and trained such drivers as Jason Richards, Greg Tullett, Jonny Reid, AJ Allmendinger, Bryan Sellars, Bas Lienders and has worked with F1 stars Jacque Villeneuve, Olivier Panis, Ricardo Zonta.
Andrew’s teaching style is direct and hands on placing importance on understanding how technique affects vehicle dynamics and maximizing each cars individual capabilities. The importance of self-analysis while teaching is highly encouraged.
